I've seen some lolita dresses go all the way up to $900 a dress. I wonder how much debt we rack up for lolita alone. I know this one is hard to measure but an approximation would be interesting. So here is a survey!
Because of the nature of this survey, results are only available as a total and individual results will not be shared with anyone. I know this is quite personal so if you do not feel comfortable sharing this information, please do not proceed with the survey.
1. From January 2009 to October 2009, how much lolita related expenses have you put on your credit card during this period? (Please only include material goods bought: clothing, accessories, shoes, etc.) If you had previous debt carried from the year before, please exclude that from your total. For instance, if I had $1000 in debt before January 2009, I would not include that in this calculation. It's only for the specified period.
2. From January 2009 to October 2009, what percentage of your accrued debt is lolita related? For example, during this time period, I accrued a total of $2,000 of credit card debt. Only $500 is lolita related material goods so my answer would be 25% for this one.
3. From January 2009 to November 2009, have you had any outside help paying your credit card bill (any part of the card even if it's not lolita related) or do you pay everything yourself? For example, during this time period, I have racked up $2000 in bills. $500 is lolita related. During the month of July, my mom had to help me pay my credit card bill for that month because I had other emergencies. So my answer would still be yes in this case.
