Announcement / Question from Harajuku Hearts about PMX.

Hello!

We would like to announce that Harajuku Hearts will be at PMX 2009 as one of the Exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall!!
Sorry for the late announcement... but we recently got our official booth number.

We will be at space number 105!!

We will be bringing items from (type of items we'll have, but not limited to):
Deorart (long sleeve shirt, jeans, jacket, neck ties, wallet)
Listen Flavor (T-shirts, hoodies, muffler, watches, bags)
Maxicimam (dresses, blouses, skirts)
Metamorphose (dresses, skirts, parasols, items autumn/winter reserve collection; Candy Star Rabbit, Royal Frame, Velveteen Crown)
Putumayo (new items released in Sept & Oct, some that are already sold out on Putumayo website and items from previous months)
Paris Kid’s (accessories, nail piece, cell phone strap)

Tabbisocks (knee high, otk socks, arm warmer)

We want to hear everyone’s opinion about paying method at conventions (not just regarding PMX).

Most of the exhibitors prefer cash as payment method at conventions. Some accept credit/debit card or paypal payment, but will usually charge extra fees. Exhibitors end up having to charge extra fees for electronic payments for several reasons.
1. Depending on the convention (not PMX), the exhibitor will have to pay additional charge (on top of regular booth fees) to get electricity ($100 is the highest we’ve heard so far…) to their booth.

2. Using the internet at conventions cost fees too (about $20/day).
3. The fees involved in accepting credit/debit card or pp.
4. The extra time it involves by typing in numbers, authorizing etc, when cash takes no time.

*Additional fees for electricity and internet use will depend on each convention*

So, to get to the question, as a buyer at a convention, would you rather bring cash and pay everything in cash for items? Or would you be willing to pay extra fees to use your credit/debit card or pp account to make a purchase. It is safer if you pay electronically so you don’t have to carry around a lot of cash with you, but is it worth the extra fees? Example of actual fees would be something like 5% of total purchase price or $10 flat fee.

We will be making another announcement next week for special deals we'll have at PMX!!
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please comment, PM or email us at info@harajukuhearts.com.

Thank you!
