This may leave you going "wtf?!" or "is she crazy, petti coats are suppose to be poofy!" but here me out on this one.
I currently only own two petti coats, one crappy one from hottopic that I had before I really started dressing Lolita, and my Kirakirajenjen petti coat. I dearly love my kirakirajenjen, and it works great for my MM replica Op (as seen here: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/kagome-chan0890/004-1.png) but this is the only piece I own so far that I can use it with. I can not wear it underneath any other of my skirts because it is TOO poofy and they are a-line skirts. I tried carefully ironing it down slightly, but it has not made even a dent in the puffiness of the petti (which I suppose isn't an entirely bad thing). Currently for my a-line skirts I use my hottopic petti, but obviously that doesn't do the trick as well as one would like.
My question is, can I make is slightly less poofy?
I know most will be like "by an a-line petti." but I am trying not to spend anymore money on Lolita for some time because I own enough for now, for someone who doesn't get to wear it a lot. I may bend and buy an a-line sometime soon, but I really need to think of saving my money for other more important things.
