Makeup Tutorial

Just a page I took from an Elle Quebec magazine.
I'll make a video tutorial eventually but I haven't had time...
So here's a written one!

[By the way, to be eyes are one step, and face is one step... so technically all my makeup is 2 step...]

1. Prime your face and your eyes, apply foundation as you normally would.

Apply bronzer to the hollows of your cheekbones [if you don't have defined cheekbones, make a fishy face and apply the bronzer in the "holes"]
Apply Blusher BELOW the apples of your cheeks. As though you were outlining the apple of your cheek sweep it up to your temples.
Highlight the apples of your cheeks, forehead, browbone, chin, as you normally would [sorry I WILL be making a better tutorial!]

2. Tightline the upper lashes [applying eyeliner in between your eyelashes] and line the bottom lashline. Go back again and apply it thicker on the outsides of your eye. Put a small dot of white eyeshadow on the inside corner of your eye.

Now the wing shape that's coming out of the eye and reaching the brow, I don't like that, I personally wouldn't do it [and will not when I make a video or picture tutorial]

Also don't applied a heavily pigmented gloss.... go for nudish light pink or pale lips.

The important part of this look is really the cheeks, so don't be afraid to go deep in colour. Make sure your blusher suits you though, that's a big problem I see a lot... Blusher not matching the skin tone and just looking dreadful...

Apply mascara.... be generous ;) [But remember to apply vaseline to your lashes after removing the mascara at night before you go to bed!!]
