When it comes to writing, what do you term as "lolita" literature?
For instance, I am very aware a large array of classics are considered lolita, fairy tales, Noavala's writings (which I love). I've read some of the short stories that have been translated for the American GLB and the tone seems to be very fantastic and escapist.
I'll put down two of my ideas for scrutiny.
One draft I have is a short story about a monster who lives in a girl's closet and its obsession with her clothes. Yes, the girl is very into lolita even though I don't name any brands specifically. It just seemed too tacky to name drop in the middle of the prose. I have my last draft of this posted here at my writing journal.
Another idea I had (which could be longer and serialized) was a series of fractured fairy tales which centered around one character and her encounters with characters from each fairy tale. Of course the first installment can be self contained incase the idea of a serial is rejected. This one is still in the planning stages and can be tweaked. I think it's this one I'm most worried about. I don't want to assume that just because it's about fairy tales that it is lolita.
That's why I come to you ladies. What do you term as lolita writing?
