On March 14th, the Panama's Lolita Community (Lolita's Candyland, proudly founded by me) had a japanese street fashion show in an event of the Embassy of Japan in Panama.
Of Lolita, which was the main sub-culture, we presented Gothic Lolita, Sweet Lolita, Punk Lolita, Country Lolita, Shiro Lolita, Kuro Lolita, Wa Lolita, Sailor Lolita, Hime Lolita, Kodona, Neogothic and we were going to present Classic Lolita also but for personal reasons we couldn't. We also had two girls as Decora and one girl and one boy as Visual.
Since we're a family who have just started into Lolita but is growing, 70% of the clothes were mine but everything looked gorgeous!
Individual Shots of our gorgeous models~
~ I must point out that the JSK was designed and made by my mom. I know the color scheme is unusual but this is a pretty lovely JSK :3 It has a mix of gingham and strawberries.
~ Also the cherries that I wore in the JSK and in the mini-hat were a present from a chilean Lolita when I went there (~thanks so much! I love you all~)
Psycho Doll ~ Gothic Lolita
~ The skirt was a replica of a Meta one, the blouse is offbrand and the alice bow was made by me.
*the skirt's fabric may seem a little bit shiny but it was actually the fault of the camera's flash*
Roxi ~ Kuro Lolita
~ The JSK was designed and made by me and my grandma <3
~ The circular headdress and the wristcuff were made by me, the choker is offbrand and the parasol was made by Enigma Siu Fung.
Kitai ~ Shiro Lolita
~ The OP was designed and made by me and my grandma <3
~ The circular headdress and the wristcuff were made by me and the parasol by Enigma Siu Fung.
*I would love to add the note that Roxi and Kitai are twin sisters so that's why I decided to dressed them up as Shiro and Kuro, to make the contrast even more interesting*
Karla ~ Gothic Lolita
~ The OP was handmade by some tailor and the mini-hat was made by her
Lala ~ Hime Lolita
~ She isn't a Lolita but a friend of mine who wanted to participate in the runway show since she loves this kind of things. Lala, if you're reading me, thanks so much for your participation and for being such a lovely friend!
~ The OP I don't know if you remember my first post of an Angelic Pretty's replica OP that my grandma and mom made for me :3, but this is the OP.
~ The sceptre was made by me
~ You can't see it but she had the hair bow style and I wished she would have used a crown but I accidentally left it at my house ;___;
~The socks she used are from BTSSB, which was a present from my japanese lovely friend <33
Cielfairy ~ Steampunk Lolita
~ The coat was designed and made by the Neogothic boy, everything else is offbrand
~ She even had a copper gun which gave even more personality to the outfit! I really loved it <3
Melanie ~ Sailor Lolita ~ and me
~ The dress was modified by me and the marine collar, the tie and the mini-hat were made by me.
Enigma Siu Fung ~ Wa Lolita
~ Everything was handmade by her! It's such a lovely and gorgeous outfit :3
~ You can't see it in the picture, but she wore a lot of kanzashi which she made herself.
*her petti suffered an accident before the event so that's why you can see her unpoofy skirt D:*
Vero-chan ~ Decora
~ She's such a lovely girl! In this photo I just want to eat her :3
Itty Skull ~ Decora
~ She did half of the makeup of the runway show's models. She's such a talented girl and she's so pretty!
Hikari in the Dark ~ Visual
~ The mask was made by me
~ The blouse is from Black Peace Now and it was a gift from a japanese friend which I love sooo much <3
~She had one white contact lense and the other eye was left natural because she has beautiful turquoise eyes.
Josse ~ Visual-Ouji-sama and Kamijo also lol!
~ The outfit was all his masterpiece! He was actually cosplaying Alucard of Castlevania but he also had some old school Visual-kei look/Versailles look (he looks like Kamijo lol!) so we include him in the runway show. He would have also been an amazing and stunning Ouji-sama without the excesive makeup.
Photos of the runway show~
Everyyyone! At the front is our veteran Lolita, Enigma Siu Fung, who was the one who made possible the bond between the anime & manga groups and the Lolita Community with the Embassy of Japan. She's one girl to be admired and I love her so much!
Hime Lolita *petti shot D:*
Punk Lolita (oops! another petti shot there >__>)
The Sailor Lolita couple
This is such an awesome shot!
(I know you guys aren't too fond of white makeup or excesive makeup in Lolita -and neither do I- but I think this really worked and he looks amazing!)
This is actually one of my favorite photos. I have such a happy expression and a priceless smile. It doesn't even matter the months of preparation for this day, the sleepless nights, the fact that I went totally broke after this XD and everything that it took for this to happen, it was such a happy and beautiful experience and at the end, everything was worth it!
~I felt like a proud mom seeing her children growing up and it was definitely one of my happiest memories and experiences~
And this is also one of my favorite pictures! I feel so stupid talking of me like this but this is and I know it will be a historical picture. Siu Fung is the first Lolita of Panama (since always she has dressed like this) and I'm the happy founder of the Community so I did the work of reuniting the few persons that like this sub-culture (we're not more than 15). It has been a beautiful road of learning and teaching people every single aspect of Lolita and making them love it as a beautiful treasure.
I'm just picturing myself being old seeing this picture and remembering the both of us who founded the first generation of Lolitas in Panama and the amazing first generation of gorgeous people that also made this possible :')
PsychoDoll, me and Sunako (Kodona ~ all was offbrand and the mini-hat was made by her!)
Eli ~ Punk Lolita (skirt made by my mom, mini-hat made by me and everything else is offbrand), Melanie ~ Sailor Lolita, Kitai ~ Shiro Lolita, Lala ~ Hime Lolita and Sunako ~ Kodona.
Full shot of my outfit ^^
Yuko, a wonderful japanese girl who helped us a lot in the backstage and taking photo of us (she was also in Lolita after this photo) and Roxi.
Thanks everyone for reading this post! I know, I tend to write a lot! sorry about that >.< Hope you liked it!
~I would also like to thank everyone who participated in stage and backstage, Lolita's Candyland, the Embassy of Japan in Panama, the people who went to the event, the persons who took this beautiful photos and you!~
