Yesterday, I made this post about an item that I did not bid on appearing in my list of Auctions on Crescent shop:
"This morning, I went to Crescent Shop to check on the shipment status of an item that I recently won and paid for using your Auction Deputy Service. As I was checking, I noticed an unfamiliar item in the list of my Auction Orders that had not been there before.
A few moments later I received email notification that I had bid on it. The comment attached to the bid was "I would like to purchase this at its Buy It Now price, please.". However, I personally did not place a bid on such an item. I am not sure how this happened, but I assure you again that it was not me who purchased this blouse.
I am not sure if it is an attempt at theft, but I decided to contact Crescent Shop to notify you about what happened. To be safe, I have also changed the password to my account. I understand that it is a great inconvenience for your Auction Deputy Service as well as the seller who posted the item, but I was wondering if it would be possible in any way for you to remove my bid on the blouse. I am very sorry for any trouble caused as a result of this matter and apologize profusely. Thank you for your help."
Later on that evening, I got this as a reply:
" We are sorry but we just cannot help this.
It is your account and don't know who bid on the auction.
But it is your resposnsibility that you buy this
even though you say you didn't bid.
Please just find what happened at your side. Also, you cannot use this account for new autions anymore as this account could be used
by somebody else even though you changed your password. Please just understand it."
So I'm going to have to pay for the item even though I personally didn't bid on. On top of that, it looks like I'm going to have to be getting a new Crescent Shop account since the member of the staff I spoke to seemed to suggest that someone else was using my account to place a bid. (I think I'm going to be getting a new Paypal, too. Just to be safe.)
I'm not sure if there's anything that I can do apart from pay for this item and then resell/trade it on the comm_sales, but I thought I'd post this here as a reminder/warning to be careful.
