Washing AP cutsew... turned into a disaster.. ;__;

I searched through archives and memories but couldn't find anything specific about washing AP's cutsews... though I'm sure I've seen someone post/complain about it before (it might have been on an other community?) sorry if this issue has been discussed before.

Here's my problem:

I recently bought Angelic Pretty's Sweet Cake cutsew in black. I wanted to wash it but was very worried so I decided to let it soak for 1-2 hours in a bucket of water and Oxyclean soap and then rinse with cold water.

I thought the print wouldn't be damaged that way, but it still did and I'm really mad. ;__; The glitter and glue that was on the print is now all over the shirt and I'm afraid the print will look like crap once it's dry (it's currently laying flat on a towel because I'm afraid it would strech it I hanged it.)

Here's a picture of the damage (NOTE: the cutsew wasn't dried when the pics were taken. I'll update with more pics once it is.):

The dye also ran ALOT. I admit I forgot to soak it in salt first... but I'm still really surprised how much dye ran out! Does Angelic Pretty's stuff always run like that?!? Do you think Oxyclean is bad for lolita clothes? (I bought it especially for that, but now I'm afraid of using it.)

Anyone has tricks for washing cutsews with prints (especially those with glitter) without damaging them?

Thank you very much!

A sad lolita,

Maki
