I know that there was just a question on an F+F coat, so I hope I'm not badgering, but since this is their Cashmere coat, I thought I'd solicit opinions just to be sure.
It's my birthday next week, and while what I'd really love to have is this Mary Magdalene Coat:
There is sadly no way I'll be able to afford the price tag before I'm thirty-five XD. When I saw Fan Plus Friend had a coat that was very similar in style, I was happy. So that brings me to this question.
Does anyone own this coat? I read previously that the wool F+F coats pill and are difficult to take care of. Is this true of the Cashmere as well? Is it a comfortable coat to wear? I live in a part of the US that's very warm nearly all year round. Our winter isn't terribly severe and only lasts for around two months, when I could always wear a heavier coat. However, I don't want to spend the price tag on the F+F coat if it won't wear well and will pill even if I take good care of it. I'm a small person, and I could always go buy a cute Rothschild or Trilogi coat until I'm thirty-five and can afford my label coat XD.
Does anyone own the Cashmere coat and find it nice? If not do you think it would be possible to get together a nicer wool and other materials and commission a seamstress to make a replica of the MM coat for a price tag I could afford? (As in somewhere around the tag of the F+F coat + Shipping).
Or should I scrap buying a coat entirely, as I already have one for winter, because buying a non-label cashmere coat isn't worth it?
Sorry to post all of this, but I need your opinions before I make my decisions, because two hundred and fifty dollars is a lot of money for me to spend on a coat that I won't like or won't wear well :)
