I got invited to a Gothic fashion show in BC *yay*^0^ so I decided that it would be good *and a excuse* to dress up gothic loli, since I haven't done that for quite awhile. So me and my two other friends Clover and Lisa went togeather. The fashion show consisted of high tea as well XDso as you can see the "tea" attracted us muchly XP. During tea and while waiting for the fashion show they'd have models in the show case standing there which at first was a little freaky but really really cool, and then it was the fashion show, after taht we then walking about it aimless circles take a few more pictures and time to go ^-^
Might I also suggest the EGA mens wear should concider buying certain items from Venus and Mars. Being there physically helps alot more because they have more in the store then on their site.

Gothic Lolita Casting Call

Hello everyone.
This is a question mainly asked out of curiousity than the ireppressable urge to actually purchase brand goods wholesale and sell them in a store. What I'm asking is for the lolitas such as myrabel and magicleyla to please explain how they get the wholesale brandname clothes from Baby, Meta, et all to sell in their stores. I've always wondered what kind of agreement there is- and how exactly they are ordered.

It's a question that stems from my own curiousity really- and I've wondered how it is done since I first saw magicleyla's posts showing her store.

I'm a bit confused about the Meta summer sale-mainly because time zones really confuse me ^^;

First of all, when do the sales usually start?  It just says "at night" on June 30th.  And also, when is nighttime Japanese time in pacific standard time?  I'm pretty sure that it's around the early morning, but what day?

Just a note to all the people in the Baby group order~ I will be going out of town tonight and will be returning on Friday, so I've put my trusty boyfriend rhyyke in charge of the order during the time that I am gone. Sorry for the sketchyness of this post but it's mearly curiousness on my behalf. This is not a sale, just asking a question. Okay, I really wanted a pair of An*ten*na rocking horse shoes or boots but unless I stalk YJ all the time, that's not happening especially in my size. I asked Miwitch if she could commission me an individual order of knock offs and she tried and contacted the factory that makes lolita_lola rocking horse shoes. Well as you know, they will only do it if I can get people to buy 50 pairs. I know the price will be under $100 not sure on how much but I wanted to know if I should even bother having her go ahead. I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in them. They would be exact replicas of the ballerina style An*ten*nas but slightly lower. I don't have a picture yet but would any one be interested in these? I am not sure if I can get them in a bunch of sizes yet but they will either be in her normal sizes 35-42 EUR or just in a size 40 EUR (US size 8.5-9).

Edit: Okay everyone who was interested, I heard back from Miwitch. Here is the deal. I cannot get a picture of the shoes until I get comfirmation that definatly 50 pairs of shoes will definatly be accounted for. After I know that 50 will be buying the shoes, we get a price quote and they make a sample. The whole process, I'm told can take 3 months meaning if we start now it won't be done until the end of sept. @.@ I totally understand that this is strange since you won't be seeing the shoes and don't know the price but it's also not like I need the money in advance to start. I asked her about the sizes and the colors and once she gets back to me I will make a post with all the details.

Okie dokie... I was in the store today and I saw some of those canvas grocery bags... WELL, I had an idea... We all know we love our dresses and shoes but we also love our bags and I got to thinking:

So, my idea was to make some grocery canvas bags saying "gothic lolita, saving the planet in frilly skirts" with a picture inbetween gothic lolita and the rest... Well, this seemed a bit cheesy to me. SO, I need your help. First, if any lolitas want to send in a drawing to be put onto the bags and maybe any cute design or sayings for them... I'm pretty sure canvas can be expensive or something but I figured I could maybe make some and send them to you lolis out there who a. want cuter grocery bags and b. don't want to throw away your old grocery bags. I myself am not a very ecological person, I recycle pop cans but that's about it and that's cause I get some money back from it BUT, I thought this might be a good idea...

If anyone has a phrase, drawing, or color scheme/simple design (that works for grocery bags!) that they would like to tell me about or would let me use I'd appreciate it. I don't really plan to have any profit of this and it may not end up working out, as it is just an idea but I thought I'd see what you all thought about it. I mean, what's better then helping the ecology and having a cute bag rather than a plastic one that breaks and has your grocery stores logo on it?

There was a girl a few moths ago who was selling a bunch of her stuff, one of those items being a black and white k-star coat.  She emailed me and everyone else who purchased from her letting us know that she had broken her leg.  I wanted to email her and ask how she was doing but I lost her email.  Would anyone happen to have it?
