METAMORPHOSE MIX UP

Today I recieved a box from Metamorphose, containing a pair of knee-high white boots.

I believe I have someone else's order, as my items should have been the Diabolo Blouse, socks and a Parasol. The correct items are written on the invoice, it is just the contents that are wrong.

Did anyone get my items?

Can we trade?

EDIT:

Contacting metamorphose directly is of course the first thing I did, however, they may not be able to pay for the return shipping and second shipping fees, and even if they will cover that, they most likely will not pay for the second round of customs or import fees.

So It would be faster and cheaper for us both to arrange this between us, if at all possible.

I suggest to contact Metamorphose and ask them for help. They should be able to tell you the other recipient.

Yes, contacting them is the first thing I did, however I thought it would be worth trying to find the other person on my own as well.

That's terrible :( I think you should contact Meta, as it's their fault (even though probably unintentional) and you shouldn't have to be the one scrambling to find your items. Plus, the extra shipping fees and costs should be covered by them in my opinion.

Contacting them was the first thing I did, and while I agree that they -should- pay for the mix up, it is likely they wont, and I'm sure they wont pay for import and customs fees on the second attempt, so it will work out simpler and cheaper for us both if I can find the other person independantly.

Unless the other person is a trusted member of the community with feedback, what you are doing is pretty dangerous. First of all, if the invoice has your items then I assume the invoice has your name and not the other person's name so even if someone were to come forward how could you be sure it's the right person? Second, even if it is the right person....who sends first? Sure, you could say 1, 2, 3...GO and say you're sending it at the same time but the other party could very well agree to that and never send anything. Especially if it's not someone who is a regular seller/buyer with feedback, what do they have to lose by doing that?

I would really recommend you just go through Meta even if you have to pay extra custom fees (which they should reimburse but I agree with you that they probably wouldn't) because paying extra customs fees is better than just paying for your stuff and ending up with nothing.

Well, of course there are risks, and it's not hugely likely I'll find the person.

but there is a small chance, so I thought I'd take it. It's not completely impossible, so I thought it was worth at last asking.

Of course, and I hope you get this resolved at little to no cost to you. I just wanted to point out that even if you do find the person it might not be the best idea.

That was me! I received your items last week in what I thought was a very strangely shaped package for just a pair of boots. I actually already returned to the items to Metamorphose so hopefully they will be able to get them dispatched to you soon. They reimbursed me for the return shipping to them via paypal, so I would demand the same treatment. You can contact me via PM if you feel you need more details to make your case. I wish I has seen this before I sent it back, as it likely would have been considerably faster than having to wait for them to redisbatch my order. Good luck to you~

Ah! I'm glad to have found where my parcel went, but it's a shame we couldn't arrange something ourselves. I'll return your boots to meta first thing tomorrow. Thanks for taking care of my items for me while you had them.

hehe I was curious if someone had gotten my boots too. My customs paperwork was also completely correct so I was really shocked when I pulled out the umbrella. Thanks a lot~

When I have received an incorrect order from Meta in the past, they simply sent me the correct items and let me keep the mix-up item.
