Altering Advice? ;_;

Hi guys, this is my first post on here so I apologize in advance if something is wrong.

I finally received my bodyline dream dress (the carousel jsk in pink, size 2L) and when I tried it on, it was much too tight in the bust. I really don't want to sell it because I love it so much and I'm also pretty handy sewing wise, so I was wondering if anybody had any tips as to how to alter it? I was thinking of cutting up the bow to add an extra panel in the back or something? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
