My Shopping Service Experiences ~ Part 1

Hey Everyone,

I haven't posted in a while I thought because I've been using a few different services and I thought I'd create an achieve of them for everyone to see.

Disclaimer:
This is 100% just my opinion and my experience. I can say I would or wouldn't recommend people but thats as far as I'd go; it's your choice to decided to buy or not to buy from these services.

Chibi_Tenshi

info on here service here

I've been using her service for a couple years now. It's never been anything but AMAZING. she always replies asap, she mails out everything fast and does everything instantly for you.

Most recently I purchased two LPs from her service. (Well i'm currently buying some items off mbok too with her but they aren't here yet). I reserved the Ap one in December with her and she purchased it in store the day they came out. In January I spotted a JSG LP on a site and asked her to purchase this for me too. She always replied right away, I should also add if you're buying something online you'll get a message almost instantly saying she's bought it. We waited for the second package to come in and she shipped the next day.

The other thing about chibi_tenshi is she is extremely organized. When she does reserves she always organizes it so that she fills slots for 1 colour for each item (Talking AP here) and she doesn't promise anything but she works so hard to get everyone's items she can. I've been very lucky to use her service so much over the last couple years.

There are so many things I really love about her service that i guess aren't really necessary but really keep me coming back.

I absolutely love her shopping service and would recommend it to anyone ^_^ Shes amazing and I would use her 100% of the time but unfortunately other people already know how amazing she is too so sometimes she cannot get items.

LUCKY PACKSS!!!
in case ur interested in the contents: AP LP and JSG LP

Quick Overall review:

Communication: 5/5
Buying time:5/5
Price(fees):5/5
Shipping time: 5/5
Overall:6/5 (because she does go a little above to make things amazing!)

Yunni Sweet Like Candy

shopping service here

I first off would like to say that I personally would never use this service again unless I was extremely desperate.  It was a terrible experience for me. She does have a good deal with sets as a reserve of only 5% which is why I chose her as my second choice in SS.

I messaged Yunni on Facebook in December asking if I could reserve sweetie chandelier in pink (The whole set), She said to fill out her form on her website so I did  (  I reserved with her because chibi tenshi was already full) . I never really herd back from her after that. I kept asking for her to confirm but she kept saying the photos on the site we're up so she couldn't confirm with me yet. so I waited.. then the day the photos came out i messaged her again (she didn't know they were out yet) but at this point i was quite antsy since she never confirmed at all that I had received my reserve.

I messaged other Shopping services because I wanted to get the dress and she didn't seem interested in helping me. The only way ever got a hold of her was by posting on the facebook wall saying i had sent her a message asking her about something several days ago.. So I found another SS and sent her a message saying I was going with someone else because her communication was terrible and it made me feel uncomfortable.

So I think i'm going with another SS ..NOPE ... I received an invoice and paid it.. It turned out it was Yunni.. she invoiced me even though i said i cancelled. At this point there is only a couple days until the dress comes out so i caved, apologized to the other SS and stuck with her because i'd never get my money back in time for the day the dress came out..

The one good thing Is at this point I really liked the ivory colour and She let me use it as my back up colour (Which turned out to be good cuz it's the one she got).

So day of the dress coming out I don't see any update; next day I see on her fb wall she got everything. I was like sweet! and I messaged she told me that she'd gotten the ivory set I was happy with that. Because I was Happy I reserved Day Dream Carnival with her right away too.

A couple days go buy and I asked her if she'd shipped ; she tells me she bought it online so I have to wait for things.. Which ticks me off because I paid a travel fee.. but I let it go because I got the set I wanted and COD (cash on delivery) has fees she has to pay anyways. But I felt this was pretty sketchy. Anyways package comes in nd took a photo of the sets she'd bought:

mine being at the bottom left. I assumed the pink package was my headbow.. She shipped about a week after this package came in. I did no receive my tracking number until two days before I got the package. For some reason she must have sent it to the wrong email or what but i saw on fb again she's said she'd emailed everyone their tracking..

package I got.. there was no note, no real ap bag(The pink plastic one), nothing just plastic cover from the ap store or website (i really have no clue where she bought things), and I open up the plastic and notice.. No headbow!@#!@ I was like WTF@W!#@$$!

So i sent her a message right away.. and left one on her wall because i was pissed.. I received no notice of her not getting a headbow or a refund at that time. I will say that i was pissed even more when she posted an update on her page about day dream carnival about 5 hours before replying to my message.

The rest of that story is a long disaster. ... Long story short; I was refunded for the headbow (Willingly and she also refunded my travel fee) I dont want to get into details here because it's going to be ridiculously long and an arguement between the two of us on her service. I will say that it was a calm ending and that i think it might have been an honest mistake but it does make me question why shse didn't refund me before i messaged her.. I didn't want to even post this because I was so upset.. I don't want to ruin her business but this was my personal experience and it was terrible.

overall; she is doing way too much imo(again only my opinion), she seems like a nice person but needs to 1 get organized and 2 have more dedication to the service because it felt like she had no actual plan and that she doesn't know what people are ordering (my invoice didn't even mention colour... ) I think prehaps she has too much going on with youtube, facebook and a website plus working a regular job and who knows what else. I know she's hired people to help her but  it just feels like that'll be even less personal now.

I canceled day dream carnival with her.. so now i need to find another ss late in the game -_-'

Quick Overall review:

Communication: 0/5
Buying time: 3/5
Price(fees): 4/5
Shipping time: 3/5
Overall:2.5/5 (this is probably being nice)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hope this helps everyone. I will have more SS reviews soon!
thanks ^_^
I had negative experience with Yunni too. That SS asked me to pay for a travel fee + ATM fee and NEVER got back to me whether or not my item was in store.
I literally NEVER HEARD FROM HER AGAIN. I am extremely disappointed at an SS who would charge money upfront to travel to the store (the item is possibly not even there) and then drop all contact. ERR... what a way to run the business.
Thanks for the review~
I think she can't check the status of items in store in a timely matter because she actually lives 3 hours away from Tokyo
My experience with yunni was virtually identical: paid her fees and such and she said shed look for the item I wanted (I was very specific). She sent me a picture of what I specifically said I DID NOT WANT, then never heard from her again. She's also not the person to use if you're into something besides sweet Lolita.
I've had a mediocre experience with Yunni, too. I pre-ordered 3 sets of brand nail decals from her, and only found out she wasn't able to get one of the sets by reading her facebook wall -- she never messaged me. I will never use her service again, as the whole experience was disorganized with little to no communication.
But I've also had a mediocre experience with chibi-tenshi, as well. She misquoted me her commission for the re-release of Chess Chocolate (this was eventually cleared up), but I could never tell if she actually placed my order (she never confirmed it), so I ended up getting Chess Chocolate from AP's international site - thus ending up with several duplicates. But I think she was having health problems at this time? Maybe?
I get the general feeling with everyone who i've spoke to that Yunni's communication is terrible.
So sad about Chibi Tenshi, I've never had a problem, shes actually my go to ss.
I too have had a very negative experience with Yunni. I got her to be my lucky pack SS and it was awful trying to communicate with her. She never returned my email until I emailed the main service which in fact is run by someone else. She ended up not getting my lucky pack siting that she got knocked down and it ripped from her hands. Which is ok I know things get crazy so I understand and I emailed that I was glad she was ok and if she could just issue me a refund as soon as possible. I waited about a week and half and emailed her again asking for my refund. No reply.... I emailed again and again. Finally a reply with an mbok link to a LP. This went on for a while. It took over 3 weeks for a refund after LP release a totally of over 5 weeks since pre-payment. Durning this time I was offered link after link of mbok auctions that she could bid on for me instead of issuing me a refund. At this point I just wanted my money back as I was unsure and not at all confident in her services. I mean what would you think if someone didn't refund you for 3 weeks, kept dodging your emails, and offering you mbok auctions when they did reply..... oh and want more money to bid for you. Never EVER AGAIN!!!
------
*to add I have had nothing but wonderful experience with Chibi_tenshi. She is by far the best in my experience and adds sweet notes and really goes the extra mile for her customers. Can not say enough good things about her
She did that to me when I asked for a refund too! In the end I just placed an mbok bid as I could see it would be the easiest way to get what I was owed. I'm glad I did now, but that's not really the point.
I've used Chibi_Tenshi several times and I agree- she's the best!
I tried out Yunni Sweet like Candy when I saw that she was picking up LP's. I can say now I would NOT use her again.
I asked if she could get me the Liz Lisa trunk LP since she was going to shop around Tokyo for AP ones. Little did I know that she doesn't actually live IN tokyo but provides an ss for it. She shipped my trunk 2 weeks after everyone else's. I figured it was because the trunk was so large, she needed time to find a box for it. Communication with her was iffy. When it finally arrived I was seriously shocked! She shipped it AS IS! No box, no paper or plastic wrap, nothing! It arrived with lots of little scuffs and what I'm most sad about, a large dent on the top corner of the trunk. After I sent a complaint to her she responded quickly.
I was seriously upset because my Liz Lisa LP was not cheap. I knew shipping for it was going to cost over $100 and was willing to pay for it because of the beautiful trunk. A friend of mine also used her SS for an AP LP and it was also shipped as is, with the shipping label stuck to the LP bag. I feel that she is not professional enough to run a shopping service.
That is COMPLETELY unacceptable! She sent it all the way from Japan without an actual box? What did she think was going to happen to it?
This is truly shocking. I've made terrible mistakes with shipping too when I was younger (just admitting this to make sure I'm not being hypocritical), but it's just absolutely not acceptable. I hope she gave you a SIZABLE refund.
My experience with Yunni wasn't great, but I haven't written about it anywhere because no money changed hands between us. I cancelled my invoice because her communication was virtually non-existent.
I contacted Yunni through Facebook on January 19th to ask about Day Dream Carnival, as she seemed to be opening up slots and I really wanted that dress. She asked me what colourway and style I wanted, and I told her. She then asked me to fill out a form on her website, which I did. I asked Yunni if she knew the approximate date of the release, I received no response to this query.
I told Yunni that my top three colourways were Lavender, Sax, and Ivory. I received no response about this. All I received was an eventual invoice that said it was for Day Dream Carnival in Ivory -- she told me nothing about my first two colour choices being taken by other customers, and the lack of communication was already rubbing me the wrong way. I then decided that I wasn't really feeling the ivory (which I assumed I had a slot for), so I sent Yunni an e-mail telling her that I would need to cancel if neither sax nor lavender was available. She did not respond for a few days, so I cancelled my invoice via Paypal and sought to find another SS.
I then received this message:
"I just put the one in the mail but I have your back ups on file.
The most popular colorway is Lavender.
Personally I think it looks better in Sax but that's just me ^^. And I've seen the print in person.
Take your time paying, you have a little over a month before the deadline."
I was extremely confused at this point, because I had already told her that I would be cancelling. My invoice had actually been cancelled for a few days prior. She also spoke as if ivory, the colourway she indicated on my invoice, was my first choice and not my third choice. It just seemed like she didn't have any understanding of what was going on with my order. I responded to this, reiterating that ivory was no longer the colour I was interested in, and I only wanted a slot for sax or lavender. I sent that message on January 30th. It is now February 13th, and I have received no reply from Yunni. I will leave my invoice cancelled even if she responds about having slot for me, because I don't want to deal with a hard to reach SS who doesn't seem to have a handle on what I've ordered.
One thing that I find a little disconcerting is that Yunni also charges everyone the same travel fee by default, 1. even if she buys your items online, 2. even if she's buying for multiple people on the same trip. Lisa/rosaire, by contrast, splits her travel fees evenly between everyone she's buying for on that particular trip. She is also very easy to contact, and her commission fees are just as reasonable as Yunni's commission fees.
Hello
I know there is an issue with communication and such, I've since two weeks ago hired two Admins to help me with the large amounts of messages I get.
The Travel Fee is split up in such a away to cover going there and going back. In total is cost around 6,000 yen round trip. I gather enough orders to cover that cost. But you're right, that might have been my error. There is a simpler, cheaper way of doing that.
I am planning to re-vamp the SS so that things like this won't happen, starting by eliminating the main source of the Communication issues (Facebook Massages) and running everything from my website instead. So that I get everything sent to my phone.
I had negative experience with Yunni too :/ .
Her Fees are good and the shipping was quite fast - but .. the communication !!
She is responding messages very very slow , and sometime she just ignored my questions. (Like "Did you won the auction?" or "Did you ship my items?")
-->But the worst of all was her pissed massage :
"Its after midnight here, you woke me up!! I have a full time job, my SS is not my life. Your items are shipped."
After three messages and three days. (But through, she was able to update her Facebook Site etc.. >_>)
Hello
There is no excuse for that kind of language, I apologize for that.
I was away that weekend and my house guest helped me to respond to some messages and mailed out a few items for me that weekend since I had to be in Tokyo.
I was not aware that you were responded to in that manner.
I can update Facebook through my iphone yes, but messages past a certain amount, I am unable to see without a PC.
Iphone Apps are pretty fail sadly.
I am so sorry that you were responded to in that manner. T^T
Hello
This is Yunni.
I know I've had some issues with communication and shipping.
I took on too many orders and wasn't able to respond to people quickly enough.
The Lucky Pack stuff was a nightmare and I had to do it all alone.
I get out of work at 4:30 and the post office closes at 5:00. Takes 10 minutes for me to get there on my bike, leaving me only a 20 minute window to send pacagkes so I have to take three or four at a time.
As for the Communication.
I take full responsibility for that.
I have since two weeks ago, hired Admins to help me cope with the excessive mail that I have to deal with.
Sometimes I get too many messages for my Iphone Page App to handle and I can't see them without a PC. Thus I can't respond to them, and I've been having a lot of PC problems lately, like crashing and no internet access for days at a time.
(I'm not allowed on the PC at work for Personal Use. Facebook is blocked).
That is why I started using the Weebly System and told people to make all request through there so that your messages don't get lost in the stream I get on Facebook Daily. Weebly gets sent directly to my phone and I can respond there from my phone, with no pc. but some people still use the Facebook PM making it difficult for me to keep track of orders and messages. I redirect people to my Weebly so that we can e-mail each other without the hassle of Facebook.
What happened with the poster was unfortunate and I know that I handled the situation badly. Communication with her was the root of the problem and I have learned from that experience and such a thing won't be happening again.
I also used Yunni (review here)
Main points: I wasn't told I didn't get my first choice colourway (I actually got my last choice), confused communication, sent to billing rather than shipping address, illegally marked down without asking.
Once my packs arrived I was much happier with the service though, and looks like she has seen your review and taken it all on board already which is good.
But your account was made today, February 14th 2013...? And the About Me page on your shopping service website has near perfect English?http://shikasarang.com/about-me/
I'm only saying this because it is suspicious.
Hello
With Angelic Pretty
For Any order over 10,000 yen, shipping to me is free, but not all my accessory orders go over that.
So that money will cover that cost, plus whenever I order from Angelic Pretty, I always use Cash On Delivery and there is a charge for that, between 700-1300 yen usually.
And like with the person who Posted this, I got half of her items in store and half online, so I still needed to go to the store to buy her dress.
So the Travel fee for her order was justified. As I still had to "travel" for her item. ^^
But only Angelic Pretty has that free shipping thing, none of the other brand sites, Mbok, Rakuten or Closet Child online do that.
Hi, I also had an experience with Yunni, it was bitter sweet.
She got the dress I wanted but, as many of you already said, communication was terrible, I ask her to break down all the fees because I notice something wrong, after that she notice she was charging me an extra shipping fee. Originally I send her money for two Chocolate Rosette, she only manage to get one, so when she refund me, she charge 4000 yen for all the travel + paypal + etc fees + international shipping, subtracting this amount from the invoice of the second dress. I AM REALLY PICKY ABOUT MY MONEY >_<... it really pissed me off! she should had let me know what she was going to do.
I didn't complain because the dress arrived and it was a hard to get.
I did a review of her service, but is in Spanish: http://www.mylolitastyle.com/2013/01/servicio-de-compra-yunni-sweet-like-candy/
That person made that post on my behalf without my permission or consent. He was way out of line and the post have been removed.
I have written to Shika Sarang about the matter and apologized and I also will be consulting a Mod about the matter.
