Wardrobe post!
27th-Jan-2013 10:07 pm
So, this is my first wardrobe post ever. It's really small given the amount of time i've been into lolita (I just started buying brand about 7 months ago). I'm hoping to expand it and make it more versatile and less random than it currently is. I'd appreciate some suggestions as to how I can add to my wardrobe.

NOT PICTURED: generic offbrand socks/tights, petticoats, Bodyline stuff I don't wear anymore because I don't really like the quality of them.

Aatp Vampire Requiem and AP Macaron Tartan Rider's JSK

I took the chain off VR because it needs some repairs (I got it on mbok for 22,000 yen because the chain was damaged - it's entirely fixable, though).

Btssb Pas de Deux in the Blue Moon and AP Wonder Party (2nd release)

The Btssb dress was my first brand dress.

My only OP

Bodyline Antique Clock OP (the dress that everyone either owns or hates).

Aatp Galactic Journey to the Stars and AP Night Sky Regimental

AP, offbrand, Btssb

Offbrand blazer, Peace Now jacket (this one I don't really wear with lolita, but I thought I'd include it because it's from a whitelisted brand).

offbrand, Bodyline, Btssb

I need more loliable bags. These are the only 3 I have that can be used with lolita.

Hair accessories

AP, Btssb, AP, offbrand x3, AP

I haven't even gotten a chance to wear the pink hair combs yet.

Necklaces: Sugar clay cafe, Hello Kitty x Sephora, Holley Tea Time, AP, present from a friend

Rings: AP, offbrand, Holley tea time, AP, AP

AP x2, Btssb

Offbrand, Doc Martens, Offbrand, Bodyline x3

I don't wear the dark pink shoes very often anymore because they're a darker pink than most of the stuff that I currently wear.
The Doc Martens aren't very lolita, but I like to work them into more casual outfits.

That's all

You have a beautiful assortment of items! I can see the Docs working with the Tartan Rider Jacket for sure :D

Casually fangirling over your Macaron Rider JSK over heeere~
How do you find the fit? Alas, I feel that it is built for someone smaller than I.

It's kind of small, and there's no shirring or elastic anywhere. I have a 27 in waist and there's not much extra room. It's also really short; I'm 5' 4" and it's about mid-thigh (so, not exactly lolita. Still cute).

It was actually really easy to find. I got it on mbok for the "get it now" option. It was 15,000 yen.

That is so well priced! It does sound like it would be quite tight. Is the bust forgiving at all?

Not really. I have a 34 in bust and again, it fits pretty snugly. I suppose you could get away with leaving the zipper a little farther down, though. The collar's pretty big.

Ahh, I see! I think I'll admire it on others from afar. Thank you so much for the insight!

Your wardrobe is lovely, i really like how you own two lavender dresses yet its such a rare colorway. You must really like lavender (i do but own nothing in that color). I also think that peace now would match lolita perfectly, you should try it. <3

:) I do like lavender. The tartan JSK is actually the mint colorway, but there's almost as much lavender as mint in it.

So lovely! Really loving the colorway of the Vampire Requiem you got.

Very cute wardrobe !
I love those AP dark blue socks ! Are they from the Misty Sky series ?
29th-Jan-2013 01:42 am (UTC)
They are. I got them because I thought they'd be a good match for the night sky regimental skirt. They're so nice that now I want the skirt to match (or perhaps even the OP).

Small but good collection. I like the tartan JSK. :)
