A Sweet and Classic Wardrobe

The wardrobe is divided in two by inbuilt shelves. The Lolita items are on the right side of the division and non-lolita clothes are on the left (not pictured).

The Lolita section is further divided into classic (left) and sweet (right) styles. I think a lot of dresses/skirts can be both sweet and classic but they are divided in my wardrobe based on how I wear them in an outfit.

I used to hang my clothes with lovely puffy silk hangers but realised that they took up more space than the regular plastic ones so I switched back.

Innocent World

IW is my favourite classic Lolita brand. I remember being so inspired by their Lauretta Rose spread in the GLB. I haven’t found it yet but I’m pretty happy with what I have so far. Most of my favourite IW items have the word "rose" somewhere in the title :P

Juliette et Justine

I love their use of jewel tones and chiffon.










Mary Magdalene

I love their elaborate classic dresses. I don’t wear them often but they’re just so beautiful to own. I’d been looking for Petit Fours for ages and finally found it with the help of a friend!






Jane Marple

I hope to grow my little JM collection because their dresses are so wearable and are another brand that isn’t afraid of colour.

I also own Twinkle Constellation in Yellow but it's packaged up and ready for someone to purchase it!

Usually too piratey for me but there are some styles that catch my eye!






Angelic Pretty





Chess chocolate was difficult to obtain. I lost my SS spot twice after the reservation rule madness but was able to snag the set on the San Francisco site. Better yet, it coincided with a holiday so I was able to pick it up in person! (I live in Australia) I had a pretty bad fever when I picked it up too (makeup melting off my face etc.) which made the situation even more dramatic.





Holy Night Story was my first brand purchase and it was another ordeal. I was charged twice and not refunded for a month and didn’t think to order anything except the JSK and OTKs (having no blouse, headdress, accessories etc. at the time). I also received it during a heatwave which prevented me from even trying it on for days.

I love wearing flowers in my hair!



Socks

I now keep my socks folded in a box. I have a few pairs of tights as well but most are solid colour or lace printed. I also own a pair of JetJ’s cross printed tights. They sit in a box in the other half of the closet.



Shoes

I absolutely love shoes but just didn't have the time to photograph them this year but here is another snippet of the collection in the hallway closet.
