BTSSB: Shopping Cart priority?

I ordered from BTSSB for the very first time this Tuesday. As I've never done it before, I decided to go with what seemed the safe method and ordered by email, as that is the method I found a great guide in english to. I'm still waiting for my confirmation email, and I'm starting to worry.. What if somebody else ordered by shoppping cart, and the dress I wanted is all sold out when they finally get to my email, Since the shopping cart system gets you a confirmation email instantly? Does this happen?

They prefer ypou to use the shopping cart method these days, and will probably email you back askign you use this method to place an order.

Oh no! I just noticed that sale-items can only be ordered by Shopping Cart! Should I send them an email to cancel my order and order by shopping cart instead!?

Order through the shopping cart, BABY won't have accepted the order by email. If you're that worried, send them a short, and *polite* email, apologising for the error through trying to email your order, and that you have now put your order if using the shopping cart. Be as formal and polite as possible. The BABY international customer service person can be pretty harsh with foreigners, as I've found out from experience even when being polite with regard to some socks which arrived faulty

Usually the shopping cart has priority, but if it's not yet sold out (red box) on the site you're probably not going to miss out on that dress. Shopping cart is only usable when what you want is still in stock on the international site, but the email system is also for when something is sold out on the site, but it might still be sold in the stores. If, in the worst case, it sells out before they can process your order, they might still be able to find it in-store :)

The dress I ordered was one of the dresses on sale. It is still not sold out, luckily :) So I've still got hope, I guess, haha!

The next time I'm probably gonna use the Shopping Cart to avoid all of these fears. I was just so confused when I should order and had no idea which method I should use!

You don't have to cancel your order, they'll cancel it automatically and send you a mail to inform you of their policy with sales items (I made the same mistake when I ordered from their sales for the first time!) but you can always send a mail just in case.
And I totally know that feeling, I'm always nervous when it comes to ordering (and choosing which method to order with, haha)

I actually have a similar issue at the moment with them, except the items that I ordered aren't on sale. I sent in an email order 8 days ago and they still haven't responded to it. In the meantime the items I want are selling out. I sent them a followup email trying to see if they got the first email and they responded in bold, underlined, red, caps telling me to wait longer :/ I want to just cancel it and use the shopping cart but I've heard of them charging people twice anyway and making them take both items, so I'm kind of at a loss at the moment. Never emailing them again though. I'd rather just use a shopping service or the shopping cart.
