Atelier-Pierrot now sells Mary Magdalene?
9th-Jan-2013 08:09 pm
I  looked at the Atelier-Pierrot site, and I noticed the new tab  for Mary Magdalene. Clicking it it seems to be just various coats  and nothing else.

Does anyone know any more information?

Is MM and 'the other AP' now working together?

What are you thoughts on this?

Atelier Pierrot sells their own brand and are also a 'select shop' (selling the clothes from various other brands). They've been carrying MM in their physical stores for some time now
The list of brands they carry is here:

ah I see. I realized they sold other brands in their store, but adding MM seemed off to me. They seem a bit too classic while the other brands they carry are more gothic. Not to say that MM clothing can't be worn in a gothic way, just that the brand doesn't scream it like others.

Atelier Pierrot's Tokyo store has carried classic brands like VM and JetJ for a really long time.

Actually when I was there in person one of the shopgirls struck up a conversation with my friend while I was inside the changing room. She mentioned that Atelier Pierrot always has two shopgirls dressed in opposite styles -- she was wearing goth on that day because the other girl was wearing sweet. (The other girl was wearing a sax blue dress, I can't recall if it's a chantilly or atelier pierrot print.) As for the shop itself, they have carried Juliette et Justine and Triple Fortune for a long time, as well as Pina Sweet. So they've always been more of an all-rounder rather than a particularly gothic shop.

I think it's the web shop's range that has gone down abit, it seemed like they had more brands to choose from about two years ago.
