Welcome to my first-ever wardrobe post! Though I keep my wardrobe in my own room, most of the individual photos were taken in the sewing room because it looks a little nicer. I may not be able to name the brand of every piece on here, but if you have a question about anything pictured feel free to ask!
I try to keep my lolita wardrobe mostly in my closet so it won't wrinkle, but I have to squish it all to maybe 1/3rd of my closet size so I can have room for everyday clothes and other stuff.
All of my dresses and skirts are displayed with a Forever 21 blouse.Jumperskirts
I thought I would start with my first-ever lolita dress! This is Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Millefeuille JSK in brown, I think the '09 or '10 release. My love of Scandinavian and Bavarian-style dresses has not waned in the three years I've been into lolita, but unfortunately I haven't been able to buy too many more dresses like this one. I still wear and love it!
Alice and the Pirates' Misty Night Royal Game JSK I in red. This dress jumpstarted my love of classic prints. The features I really enjoy on this dress are the vest-style bodice and the lovely, deep colors in the print.
Behold, my only sweet print! Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Chocolate Fascinate Fairytale Chocolierre JSK in ivory. I love fairytale prints, dessert motifs, and corset lacing. Basically this dress is everything I like even though I don't really wear sweet very often.
Bodyline's L031 JSK in brown. When I ordered it I expected it to be a darker brown, but I was actually pleased with its cafe au lait color! This one is my go-to if I want to do country lolita.
Innocent World's Violin JSK in grey. I got this dress about a month and a half ago, and I've been wearing it so often. The violin details are made of grosgrain ribbon and embroidery. The straps also button in the back, and there's plenty of room to add buttons for the perfect fit (which I did). This dress is absolutely perfect.
Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Princess Frill JSK in navy. I love the repeating flat panels with the ruffle columns! I haven't been able to wear this one too often, I should really start wearing it more. Came in a set with a headbow.
Innocent World's Beluga JSK in navy, short version. This dress is actually quite versatile, and even looks good without a petticoat! The ruffled bib on the bodice is removable with snaps.Skirts
Bodyline's L130 skirt in pink. Unfortunately I bought it secondhand and the detachable bow had been lost by then, but I still love it dearly. It even has a couple underskirts for extra poof!
This skirt is made by indie brand Eat Me Ink Me, also bought secondhand. I'm kind of wacky about military and uniform-type pieces, plus corset-style high-waisted skirts are very flattering on my body type.
A lucky pack skirt from H. Naoto FRILL. I thought this one deserved a detail shot because of the beautiful embroidery!Pants
Unfortunately I have only one pair of kodona pants right now. But I really couldn't ask for a cuter pair! Cardsuit buttons and suspenders, hooray! This one also gets a detail shot for the patch on the back.Blouses, Cutsews and Outerwear
I ended up with a lot more of these than I thought I would! But I think different blouses can really change an outfit, so they add variability to a wardrobe.
My short-sleeve blouses. Clockwise from top left: Forever 21, Bodyline, Wal-Mart, and Bodyline again.
My light-colored long-sleeve blouses. The left one is Bodyline, and the right one is Alice and the Pirates, from the End of Immortal Eden series.
My darker long-sleeve blouses. Left is Bodyline, and right is vintage.
My cutsews. I actually have another but it's currently missing... Both of the black and white ones are Forever 21, and the striped one is Yessica.
A capelet (BtSSB) and a sweater (Forever 21 - I like to call it the "Sir Bearington"). I don't get to wear either of these very often because I don't have much that matches the capelet (I'm actually thinking of selling it), and the sweater is very, very casual.
Two cardigans, top from Bodyline and bottom from Forever 21.
Two more cardigans, the brown one I found at Goodwill, and the navy one from Forever 21.
My red cardigan from Target, displayed on the dressform because I don't think this would have showed up very well on a red background...
And a vintage brown velvet jacket.Accessories
Bags part one. Deer tote from Shanalogic, chessboard tote handmade by me, black piano bag from Bodyline, and book pouch is unknown.
And bags part two. Tarot card bag from Alice and the Pirates, brown party bag from BtSSB, and cream and brown satchel from Icing.
My tights and socks. Most of these are collected from various department stores, but the fancy cat tights are from Ophanim and the harlequin tights are AatP. The top row is all socks, the two on the left from BtSSB, and the one on the right from Fanplusfriend.
Some hats. Boater from Target, Tricorn from Fanplusfriend, and beret from Forever 21.
My headbows! I don't know the brands of all of these, but the large navy one on the top left is BtSSB's Princess Frill, the fawn antler headband next to it is handmade by me, and the cream headbow with roses is Bodyline.
Various hairclips and pins.
My rings. Again, one is missing. I don't have that many rings, and all of them are fairly cheap.
Brooches. The top row of plush brooches are all handmade by me, the heart biscuit is BtSSB, and the cake pins are Sugar Clay Cafe.
Some necklaces.. there are a lot of these. Origins are as follows from left to right: Shanalogic, Forever 21, Handmade by me, Macy's, Shanalogic again, and Until It Ends Studios on Etsy.
Some nautical necklaces. I really like anchors as it turns out. The unattached pendant resulted from a broken jump ring.
Oh look another unattached pendant. I have terrible luck with jump rings.
Though I don't wear sweet lolita much anymore, I will always love sweet lolita jewelry. The two leftmost necklaces are Sugar Clay Cafe, and the right three are all Frosted Fleur de Lis.
More sweet jewelry. The chocolate bar was made by a friend of mine, and the little flan was made by Fairchildart on Etsy. The remaining are from Shanalogic.Shoes
Here we go. Clockwise from top left: Target, vintage, Forever 21, Target again, Bodyline, Bodyline once more, American Eagle, and Bodyline finally. It's hard to see but the Bodyline Rockinghorse shoes are broken. I really need to get it fixed soon!Other Guff
A pearl headband from Forever 21, a crown handmade by me, my Usakumya pen and phone charm from BtSSB, and a cicada necklace because I forgot to include it with the other necklaces.
And finally, my parasol from BtSSB. I love its pretty round shape and swirly handle!
That's all! I'm very proud of how my wardrobe has grown since I first got into lolita, and I hope you all enjoyed looking at it! In the future I hope to add some OPs and more skirts to my collection.
