4th-Jan-2013 10:07 pm - My Wardrobe at University.
sweet lolita red candy
Being a theatre student leaves little time to dress myself up in my frilliest but from time to time I get the chance. This year I actually brought some of my clothes with me to uni and so I finally have the chance to show off my little wardrobe. Some bits are at home as I only bothered to take my favourite and most wearable pieces with me, but I hope you enjoy having a look all the same!

This BtSSB dress my boyfriend bought for me for my 19th birthday and I have treasured it since. Stained Glass Seraphim was my dream dress since getting into lolita and it remains my favourite print ever. However, since my tastes are leaning evermore towards gothic and the darker classical shades, I'll be looking to trade this for the same dress in black soon.

Bought this in Paris from the BtSSB store. It is stunning and just the most gorgeous colour.

An Innocent World dress that is so versatile! And soft, can't forget soft. This is my wardobe equivalent of a LBD.

R-Series put out lovely pieces and I'm glad to have some in my collection. Still haven't gotten out the use of suedette for the bulk of the dress. Very good for winter!

Moi-Meme-Moite was a bit of an unreachable dream at one point in my life, and then I stumbled upon this OP in the sales comm. It's lovely to wear, if a little big.

My two other Moite items, a blouse and a jacket. I love wearing the jacket out with non-lolita clothes. It makes me feel a little more glam during the day!

My Orphanim Gothique brooch! Perfect for gothic and classical. I also own a soft bonnet from the same store but rarely get the chance to wear it.

Ah, the humble blouse. These two are from R-Series and an off-brand chiffon-esque piece with stars all over. I don't own a lot of blouses and tops so it's my resolution in 2013 to aquire more.

This is a Ralph Lauren doublet type thing I found in a charity shop near my flat for £10! It looks really interesting layered over dresses or blouses.

Well, that's all for my university wardrobe. The rest consists of Black Milk and jogging pants, none of which suit the lolita aesthetic but come in handy for practical workshops. Hope you enjoyed having a little look!
