Dear Lovelies,

I was wondering if any of you know if there is a specific name for the kind of lace AP and Baby use when they do these cute
lace ups with the ribbon? I have been trying to track down a similar kind to use in a design I'm working on, but really to no
avail other than that I'm looking for a scallop embroidered/chemical lace trim, and having no luck.

Thank you for all your help! <3

When brands use lace that has small loops like that, it usually is described with the term "ピコ" that google translate will spit out as "pico", which I think is supposed to be "picot"? which is "A series of small embroidered loops forming an ornamental edging on some ribbon and lace." [x]. However, I don't know how often that term is used to describe lace for sale; it's used to describe the satin ribbon with the loops on the edges, and oddly enough, underthings with the style lace you are looking for, However, it doesn't seem to be used for that style lace in English; you just get lace with the little thread loops like picot satin ribbon has if you search for picot lace... However, I thought I would mention it, in case it was of any use (I guess, if you were looking for Japanese lace, it might be described that way there?).

They use cotton venice lace. There are lots of different kinds you can get. Kuboriki is a nice site, but might be expensive:

As long as it has the loops you can use it for lacing. Just don't pull to hard (actual corseting) because the lace will rip.
