Bodyline Measurement Request
16th-Nov-2012 11:21 pm
Heya all :)

I know Bodyline is sometimes a bit off with their measurements and garments can run smaller or larger, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out by giving me the realistic measurements of a few items. Centimetres or inches, I don't mind, I just would like to know the actual range of shirring.

What is the largest these skirts/JSKs can go to?

Thank you!

I don't have the Love Jewelry skirt anymore, but I did awhile back. Anyway, I was under what the listed minimum measurement was, and it was still too stiff and tight on me, even after some stretching it out. It was very, very small. However, it was extremely easy to take the elastic out of the waistband and it went much bigger. I sold it off before I got around to replacing it, but it easily looked as though it could accommodate up to a 30 inch waist, maybe larger, I'm not sure.

I got the Military Parfait skirt in a trade and I do NOT recommend it if you have a large ribcage or hourglass figure.

Fair enough, thanks for the warning.

I once owned the military parfait jsk. It squished me in the chest and I am not the max measurements. Be careful if you decide to order it.

I own the Military Parfait JSK. The website says the bust fits 82-92cm, but i have a bust of 87 cm and the jsk is rather tight for me

I know this may not be what you're looking for, but have you tried there full shrilling stuff like L304 (a dress I own and love) are very stretchy. I have a 2L in that dress, and L075 blouse M and it goes up to a 115cm bust I believe (would go for the bigger size however if you are a 105cm and over being I find it can be a bit snug). I'm a 113cm Bust and 100cm Waist just for reference, so I'm just stating my experience with Bodyline.

I honestly don't like the look of full shirring :p Thanks for the advice though!
