For the Creative Lolita's, What fabrics do you like?

I am looking at doing a pile of sewing after christmas this year, to boost my lolita closet and fill my need for dream prints that I didnt have the money to buy at the time. I've been stockpiling some fabric designs on spoonflower, and thought I would ask what designs people like at the moment.

Im looking at getting:

and http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/1411603

I really like the JetJ jumperskirts with the black bodice and print skirts, so I am looking at mostly making skirts and wearing them with a plain black dress I have that has the most amazing lace sleeves. But there will be a few that I make into JSKs. I would also love to design some disney inspired prints, after seeing the Disney anniversary prints released lately :)

So, what fabrics do you like? Anything you saw from a designer that you couldnt afford, but found similar fabric to? Or anything that just screams "make a skirt from me!!!"?

I personally love Rouge Aerie's designs. The books also look nice. I like painting skirts too so the last one works...I just find that artist particularly scary XD

i personally love that carouskel print. i think it would be perfect for anti-ott kind of coord? like a spin on the mary-go-round print fad going on but with more gothic theme?

For purely selfish reasons, I'm all for you buying the Carouskel print. ;)

But out of the others, I love the Moon Rabbit print. I've been considering buying some for myself recently, since I think it would make for a lovely spring/summer ensemble.

The carasole print is actully what got me started into spoonflower fabrics. I missed Rouge Aerie's dresses when they were on sale (they were the dresses that made me want to get into Lolita!), and when she put the fabric up I was so excited! Hehe Bosch is an interesting painting, but to be honest I kind of like the idea of doing a dress with the Bosch print because I studied his paintings, so it has more meaning than the prints JetJ uses (even though I love those prints). I love the vintage games prints too, I love seeing lolita dresses that people make that are really individual.

i love the carouskel print myself (i'm thinking of buying it in red). :) i also like the book print, but it would be too busy as anything other than a border on a coordinating color skirt/jsk. and consider this another vote for both moon rabbit and bosch. :D
