Compared to other brand mooks, theirs is a bit thin and consists of only 62 pages. The content is quite cute, however! There are some photoshoot pages, a couple of pages dedicated to a makeup tutorial, the collaborations they've had with other brands (e.g. Volks Super Dolfies, Gloomy Bear, etc) and what I personally find the most interesting: A print archive!
The famous Hawase OP that Momoko wore in Shimotsuma Monogatari & Baby's first original print, the Chess Alice
More recent stuff like AATP's Vampire Requiem
The makeup tutorial
Collabs with other brands
A detailed print archive!
I didn't take pictures of everything, obviously, but there are other interesting content like interviews with the Baby and AATP designers, as well as mentions of the branches overseas. Photoshoots feature models like Aoki Misako and Fukasawa Midori and others.
Like most other brand mooks, Baby's also comes with a freebie. It goes without saying that it's not brand quality but having seen a lot of other brand mook and magazine freebies, I have to say that this is one of the highest quality ones I've seen.
It's a bit squashed at first due to the way it's packed in the cardboard box but once you fluff it up, it's good to go! With my iPhone for size comparison:
The downside is that it's rather small compared to regular brand pochettes. A purse and phone and perhaps a lippie inside and I can't zip the pochette close already. XD Comparison pic with my AP strawberry pochette:
It's definitely a cute and handy purse to bring about if you want to go light for a casual occasion. :) A simple outfit that I'd put together with the pochette:
It's priced at 1400yen and if you are interested, you can probably find a copy of the mook at your local Kinokuniya. Alternatively, it's also available on AmazonJP.
PS. The ISBN is 9784796688369 if you need your bookstore assistant to look for it/order for you!
