More Lolita doll eye candy!



Hi everyone! I got such sweet and wonderful comments about my last dolly post I thought I would share the last outfit that has been released.. I love classic lolita and rose/floral prints, although I do not wear it myself, but that doesn't mean my dolls can't! :) Although this looks like something Angelic Pretty would of released back in the old days, as its definitely over the top....



As I said in my last post, I have been doing handmade items for awhile now that I would sell on my own.. but recently I was fortunate enough to land a design job making outfits with a very good friend who owns JpopDolls, a US based BJD company. These are the pictures I took myself of the sample. *Please note I didn't sew this, its being semi mass produced :) *

I hope you enjoy looking! I am not really sure what is going to be next, definitely a couple more Spring pieces.. one planned for yosd sized girls and hopefully will be able to do one for 60cm BJDs. I have been wanting to do some fairy kei inspired lolita clothes but its a bit tough to come across pastel fabrics :(

Wow, your attention to detail is amazing! :O

The first doll (red hair with green eyes) has a really interesting face. What make is she?

She is a Kaye Wiggs Layla.. she is an Australian BJD artist ^^ It took me awhile to grow to love the dolls, but now I have two of the MSD size girls and 3 of her tiny dolls! I think they have a very cute and sweet look to them!

Yes, I love their knobby little noses! I never saw a doll with a pronounced nose like that before.

I'm only collecting 1/6 scale dolls right now, but those are so tempting... maybe someday!

Yes she looks like a very upset Victorian little girl sometimes depending on what I put her in, so its a lot of fun haha.

Oh I used to only collect 1/6th dolls too :D I only recently got back into BJDs with my new job. But once you start its super addicting....

Thank you! I didn't actually sew it as its being produced (30 pieces). I was so happy how faithful they remained to my drawing! Thanks for your comment ^_^

All of your designs have been turning out gorgeous! And whoever produces the outfits seems to have been staying incredibly faithful to the originals, which is great.
Are there any plans to release the clothes you design in more conventional BJD sizes? I'd love to have some for my MSDs and slim minis!

Thank you so much! They have been doing a really great job. I was a bit worried at first, but they constantly wow me XD So thats great and makes it easy on my end haha.

This outfit will fit the regular sized MSD like Volks and Luts Delf, and if I do end up designing for the larger Kaye Wiggs doll that will fit almost all SD size girls I believe (without a big bust). Since the Kaye Wiggs girls are our main focus its kind of hard to say who I will be designing for later, but I would love to do some designs to fit Unoa and the slim MSDs (I have a Serendipity Alice myself). But since I just started a few months back its really hard to know what is going to happen! Thank you for your comment! ^^

You're very welcome! :> It's refreshing to see doll clothes that fit so closely to the Lolita aesthetic- usually they kind of veer off into more foofy princess-y territory, which isn't a bad thing, but it's not always what you want.

Oh, that's great to know! I must've been looking at the wrong measurements for the Kaye Wiggs dolls, because it seemed like they were significantly smaller than my MSDs (a Volks and a Luts, coincidentally! X3). Unfortunately I don't think I'll ever have an SD girl who'd fit those clothes (mine are EID size, so practically nothing fits them anyway), but I'll definitely be looking forward to more of your MSD designs. Thanks for all the info! ♥

The second girl, with the brown wig, is actually a GyoXa head on a luts body! ^^ I like how it fits her better, shes wearing it right now still haha. Kaye Wiggs is actually a bit taller, but thats the only real difference which makes it nice since I love Volks MSD and I hope to get one someday, so its fun knowing when I do she will have all these cute clothes to wear. XD
