Hey everyone!

This is my first egl post, so um, hi! I've been a lurker on here for a while, and new to the fashion and all that. I know you guys have seen a bunch of these LP posts already, but I was so excited I wanted to share (as this is also my first real lolita purchase), and I love looking at the items other people received. ♥



I'm posting this a bit belatedly; I actually received the LP last Wednesday, but didn't have adequate time to put a post together until after the holiday weekend (ah, the joys of working retail). Ordered on November 17th, shipped out the next day, and arrived in less than a week. Overall a very smooth transaction, though the charge from Meta still shows as 'pending' on my credit card statement (anyone else have this issue?).

I don't have a picture of the package it shipped in, since I opened it as soon as I got home (was just a large plastic pink bag anyway, nothing fancy), but this is what came inside:



Ta-da! :D As you can see, Fruit Punch Soda bag, white Raschel lace monster, a very cute blue blouse, and a couple of pairs of socks.

I am actually a very Classic girl, so ordering this LP (especially as a first purchase) seems like an odd choice; however, there are a few Sweet prints out there I can't help but love. Fruit Punch Soda is one of those prints, and considering the discount I could potentially receive FPS items at (as well as some cute blouses, boleros, and other accessories), I decided to take the plunge. :3

Now for a breakdown of each item:

Raschel Lace Short Sleeve Dress (White)

As far as lace monsters go, this one is actually quite lovely; the simple design offsets all the lace, I think. That being said, it's not my style; also the cut doesn't fit me well (tried it on for kicks). So I will be putting this on the sales comm, hopefully to trade for the dress I really wanted: Fruit Punch Soda Sundress in black!

Fruit Punch Soda Bag (Mint)

YES! One of the two items I really wanted, and in my favorite color as well. ♥♥♥ This is a great bag, a nice large size with several pockets (both inside and out), made to stand upright, sturdily made and just overall wonderful. Will definitely get use, even outside of lolita. :D

Shirred Ribbon Blouse (Blue)

A very cute blouse, and I love the color! Unfortunately a little too Sweet for my taste. Will be putting up for sale.

Melody Poodle OTK (Yellow) & Heart & Musical Note Knee High Socks (Navy)

Super cute socks, especially the navy & white knee highs. I generally prefer plainer socks though, so these will also be up for sale.

I got one out of two of the items I really, really wanted (and in my favorite color no less!), so I consider this LP a success! Half the fun of buying an LP is the anticipation and wonder, I think, and I am now only more excited to start putting together a lolita wardrobe. :D
