June theme: Bonnet

I made this bonnet earlier this spring to a schoolproject, we should make a costume with insperation from nature, mine started with a piece of moss, wich developed into roses and then this costume wich the bonnet was a part of

Everything is handmade except the birds, but all the roses are handmade(And they were a lot of them^^')

Here is the whole costume. I hope it is ok that i post it even if it is not lolita, but i thiught it could be fun to see it all:P

The corset are from pattern fromm 1730, and painted wilk silkcolors and a roses,
The skirt are a big crinolin with branch wich i've painted white and ca 100 handmade roses on^^

I still think this looks amazing. It can also be ero loli because of the cage.

Godess! Let me say you that you are realy endowed! I realy am impress about it! the half-bonnet is perfect (I want to get it btw hi hi) and the skirt is very amazing and interesting!

love it. are you doing fashion design or is this a highschool project or what? i would love to do stuff like this but my fashion design course really pushes us towards doing "serious old lady art curator" type clothes.

i studied textile at an art school! it was so much fun to do! But old patternmaking are so good to know:) I want to study that too!

I love how creative, crazy and differnt this co-ord is, it's amazing! I think the bonnet is the last thing people notice with nice legs like those!

At first I saw the bonnet in the preview pic and said "wow!"

Then I saw the costume and I just fell out of my chair XD. It's gorgeous!
